	Scott Bonacic is the Managing Partner of BL&K. Scott concentrates his law practice in commercial and residential real estate development, real estate sales/leases, corporate law and criminal defense. Scott appears before municipal planning and zoning boards, drafts contracts, negotiates variances, undertakes due diligence studies for commercial and residential projects, and litigates disputes. In addition, Scott actively litigates matters in local civil and criminal court. He has served as Counsel to municipalities in Orange County and has strong relations with government officials in municipalities throughout the Hudson Valley. Scott earned his B.S. at University of Scranton (Magna Cum Laude) and his law degree from Albany Law School (Cum Laude). Scott formerly served as an Assistant District Attorney in Orange County and as associate Counsel to Senator Michael Balboni, one of the nation’s foremost experts in homeland security legislation. In addition to practicing in the real estate development/sales area, Scott supervises the firm’s municipal law practice section. The firm currently represents municipalities in Orange County (Towns of Chester and Wawayanda Zoning Board of Appeals), Sullivan County (Town of Mamakating Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals), and Delaware County ( Town of Bovina and Town of Stamford). Scott is married to Patricia Bonacic, a teacher at Ulster/Orange BOCES. They currently reside in Campbell Hall, New York with their son, Dylan.
