DAMIAN J. BRADY
Mr. Brady's experience has encompassed the following areas: Probate and Administration of Estates, Estate Planning, Municipal Law and Planning, Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Civil and Criminal Litigation.
Mr. Brady is well versed in Estate Planning issues and the Probate and Administration of Estates in the Surrogate Courts of the State of New York. He also appears before municipals planning and zoning boards on behalf of clients as well as representing municipalities. In addition, Mr. Brady actively represents clients in civil, criminal and election litigation matters in the Supreme, County, Appellate and local courts of the State of New York. He has also appeared in front of the New York State Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state.
Mr. Brady currently serves as Corporation Counsel for the City of Port Jervis, New York and also represents numerous estates in the probate process and clients with their estate planning needs. He has experience in residential real estate sales and development and has litigated land use and contract matters, probate/will matters, and DWI and criminal matters both hearings and trials.
Mr. Brady graduated with a B.A. degree in European History from Washington and Lee University in 1997, earned the William Jenks Scholarship his senior year for academic merit in history and was an all conference and scholar-athlete tennis player. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2000 while earning the Schuman Prize for the highest average in European Union studies.
Mr. Brady also served for three years as a Councilman for the Fourth Ward in the City of Port Jervis (2007-2009) and served as the Code Committee Chairman for two years while also serving on its Finance and Public Works Committees.
Mr. Brady and his wife Amanda reside in Port Jervis, New York with their two children, Jackson and Mackenzie.
